EXCEEDING THE STANDARD
The Star Academy Program employs multiple educational strategies to effectively:
- Reduce dropout rates
- Deliver two years of curriculum in one school year
- Address the needs of at-risk students and other nontraditional learners
- Foster individual student responsibility for learning and behavior
- Enable students to earn up to eight credits in one school year
